    This London-based scale-up helps businesses cut e-waste and carbon emissions through greener mobile technology. At the time of engagement, the company was growing fast (from 190 to 230 employees), but lacked the internal structure and systems to support that growth.

    Despite a strong external mission, the internal employee experience was struggling to keep pace. There was no dedicated HR function for over seven years, and the business faced challenges around high turnover, misaligned behaviours, and attracting and retaining top talent.

    The leadership team wanted to strengthen culture, clarify values, and rebuild systems to align people strategy with business performance.

    I was hired in to design a full HR strategy and roadmap, including organisational restructuring, leadership workshops, and culture change initiatives to improve engagement and performance.

    While providing HR business partnering support, I identified recurring communication challenges between the engineering and design teams. The leadership team wanted a practical, science-backed way to improve collaboration and understanding before a major product launch.

    I became a qualified DISC practitioner and created a tailored behavioural workshop focused on communication, trust, and teamwork. This provided both teams with tools to understand differences, build empathy, and work more effectively together.
